Scripture Passage: 2 Timothy 2:14-26

Paul’s letter to his young pastoral protégé Timothy is about leaving a Gospel legacy. Paul longs to see young Timothy and the churches he helped start stay faithful to the Christ, the Gospel, and the Word — despite persecution, suffering, and challenges. The message and themes of 2 Timothy inspire contemporary Christians to embrace the timeless truth of the Gospel by teaching it and living it out as an example to all who follow us.
