Grace Young Adults
Our mission is to connect young adults to community, to the church, and to Jesus.
What is a young adult?
We recognize that the young adult life stage cannot be neatly confined to a specific age range and that some will consider themselves a young adult for a shorter or longer period than others. For the sake of simplicity, we consider someone a young adult from the end of high school through their twenties.
The Essentials
The Young Adult stage is often full of transitions. In the midst of change, these are the essential anchoring aspects of church life we urge every believing young adult to be part of:
The Sunday Gathering
Since the early days of the church, Christians have assembled on the first day of the week for worship, fellowship, and biblical teaching (Acts 20:7). Click here for more information.
Communion
Jesus established communion as an ongoing ordinance for believers (1 Corinthians 11:23–26). At Grace Polaris Church, our communion services consist of three elements: the love feast, foot washing, and the bread and cup. Click here for more information.
Grace Groups
We believe that Grace Groups are one of the best places to know and be known in a community that loves, serves, and prays for one another (Rom. 13:8, Gal. 5:13, Jas. 5:16). Click here for a list of Grace Groups specific to young adults.
Crossroads
Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in Ministry Center Room 5
Crossroads is a Sunday morning group for young adults that meets during the first service at 9:15 am. This group is laid-back, relational, and is aimed at helping young adults connect to people and groups. Join us for food, fellowship, and time in the Word as we go through various biblical and topical series.
The word crossroad can mean an intersection of two paths or a crucial point of decision making. We chose this name because our aim is for Crossroads to be a place where 1) people’s paths intersect and connections are made, and 2) young adults can walk together through a season of life when important decisions are often made.
Events
Throughout the year there are a variety of events for young adults to attend and invite others to join them! Stay connected with what’s happening through the calendar on this webpage and through Instagram.
Upcoming Events
Church Connection
One of our core values at Grace is “Unity in Diversity,” and this includes diversity of age. We believe multigenerational community enriches the church as a whole and highlights the radiance of Gospel reconciliation. For this reason, we highly encourage college students and young adults to get plugged into a group in which they can connect with both young adults and those in other life stages. Below are further opportunities for community with young adults and people in different life-stages!
