Paul’s letter to the Church in Rome is a masterpiece on the Gospel, beloved by students and scholars alike. Those who seek its truth will be enlightened by its hope, while skeptics will be challenged by its message. Those who encounter and embrace the message of Romans are considered righteous before God, and their lives will be redeemed for His glory. They enter into a vibrant community of believers and they become like Christ as the Holy Spirit does His work. Paul offers instructions on how to interact with others in light of the Gospel. He saw the big picture of what God was doing in history, and therefore highlights the importance of living out the Gospel in the present. Romans shows us how we can be anchored in the Gospel and transformed by it, and how people from all over the world are called to it. So how does this change how we live?
