Scenes of Substitution
Scripture Passage: 2 Corinthians 5:21
From Series: "Transparent"
In today’s age, there are endless ways to express ourselves. We project our image the way we want to be seen, proclaiming our authenticity to the world while looking for validation from others. More often than not, what we put out there is really just a persona we’ve cultivated. It seems we’ve lost sight of real openness. Two thousand years ago, the Apostle Paul lived his life like an open book, allowing those who knew him to see his authentic self. He shared openly with others about his dark past, and he demonstrated through his words and actions how Jesus had transformed his heart. Paul was generously transparent in how he lived…and transparently generous in how he shared with others. And now, every follower of Jesus is invited to follow his example and live transparent.
