From Series: "Onward: The Church on Mission " In the book of Acts, we see believers live out the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations. As the early church was established, they did not keep the Gospel to themselves. They charged onward into the culture taking the hope of Christ to all people. They recognized their role as witnesses in the neighborhoods and the nations. Despite persecution, Christians testified to the truth of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. This is the same call we have today. Through Acts, we'll grow in our confidence in the Gospel as we see the power of the Holy Spirit, the boldness of the disciples, and the priority of local churches.
