All kids entering Grades 1–6 are invited to join us for a wild adventure!

Step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore who God is and what it means to be rooted in relationship with Him, our loving Creator, and our safe place amidst life’s storms.

Kids will have a blast as they discover the nature of God through lessons, games, snacks, crafts, science experiments, and music.

Kids entering grades 1–4 will participate in our elementary VBS. Kids entering grades 5–6 can choose to participate in either elementary VBS or our new Bible Camp.

Bible Camp is a new option for kids entering grades 5–6. This group will participate in opening and closing ceremonies with the elementary VBS crews, and they will spend the middle part of their morning in specialized Bible teachings. This group is limited in size and is geared toward students who desire advanced training through deeper discussions.

Advance registration is now closed. Walk-ins are welcome beginning Monday, June 15 at 8:40 a.m.

About Vacation Bible School at Grace

How VBS Works

Vacation Bible School, or VBS as we call it, is an annual, week-long, summer day program for kids entering Grades 1–6 in the fall. Each day kids learn Bible truths straight from stories in the Bible and engage in fun, hands-on activities like games, science experiments, and more that help make the Bible lessons memorable. We also utilize catchy music and interactive hand motions to help reinforce our theme. Kids walk away from VBS with a new or deeper relationship with Jesus and tools to help them follow Him better.

Advance registration is now closed. Walk-ins are welcome beginning Monday, June 15 at 8:40 a.m.

Kids Entering Grades 1–6

Each day parents will check their kids in at a check-in station and walk their child to their crew leader. The morning will kick off with a Sing & Play Tune Lagoon where we will worship through song and meet a Bible Memory Buddy before individual crews embark on their daily exploration! Each crew will then rotate through the following stations: Imagination Station, Wild Games, Sticky Scripture, Rooted Bible Adventures, and Treetop Treats. All the crews will come back together for the Canopy Closing. Parents are invited to sit-in on the closing group time and then pick their child up from their crew leader immediately after.

Students Entering Grades 7–9

Students entering grades 7–9 are invited to sign-up to serve during VBS. These students will be assigned a role for the week and will be responsible for working with station or crew leaders to prepare and execute activities or travel with crews throughout the morning. A required one-hour youth volunteer training session will be held prior to VBS week.

School Supply Donations

This year at VBS we have the opportunity to help kids in our own church neighborhood! Worthington Park Elementary and Worthington Slate Hill Elementary both serve a diverse community, many of whom are in need of support. These local schools welcome kids from many nations, speaking many different languages. Our school supply donations will help build a welcoming and stable environment to foster learning among the diverse population while building bridges for Gospel proclamation.

Have your child bring in items from the list below during the week of VBS and place them in the designated donation area for boys and girls for a friendly competition to see which group brings in the most supplies.
