The center exists to help parents meet their God-given responsibility of educating their children, not to assume that responsibility. It is imperative the parents and children be supportive of this philosophy as practiced in the day-to-day operation of the school. Grace Polaris seeks to work closely with parents in meeting the needs of their children.
Our Philosophy
- We believe each child is a unique and purposeful creation of God made in His image (Luke 18:16). We believe one of the ways children learn about God and His plan for their lives is from the Bible.
- We believe each child grows developmentally and in all areas of development (cognitive, physical, social, emotional, spiritual) (Luke 2:52).
- We believe each child learns by actively participating, exploring, and discovering (Proverbs 20:11).
- We believe children best develop new knowledge and skills based on what they already know and can do through play, examination and manipulation of concrete materials, and use of all their senses.
- We believe children must be encouraged to ask questions, experiment, make choices, and propose solutions.
Infants
Our teachers seek to partner with parents to provide a safe and secure home-away-from-home setting for each baby.
Nothing is more important to an infant than a loving, nurturing, consistent caregiver. We believe Jesus Christ has a very special place in His heart for the little ones and so do we. That’s why we will spend most of our time holding, cuddling, and talking to your child.
From our low teacher-to-child ratio to our specialized, outdoor infant courtyard, your infant will be stimulated to grow in every area of development. Teachers talk, sing, read stories, and laugh with infants during the day to help them acquire language skills. They roll balls and play games to encourage motor development.
Our doors are open to parents at all times to come and play with or feed your precious gift from God.

Toddlers
Toddlers are full of energy and potential. They are ready to show the world who they are! Our toddler environment is well prepared for any toddler to use their new skills to explore and discover the world as they make leaps in their development. We provide the space and time they need to be active and creative. We provide loving, nurturing, and well-trained teachers to guide and direct all this energy. Our staff provides a safe environment with balanced and predictable routines each day. We believe that this is the year in which children really learn to love school and see learning as fun. We can’t think of a better way to begin a lifetime of learning.

Faculty and Staff
All faculty and staff are fully certified by the state of Ohio and serve as godly models for students at Worthington Christian Schools.
