Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is available 24 hours a day to pray for those with a personal need or for the need of a loved one or friend. Prayer requests are retrieved twice a day and passed along to prayer warriors. A request identified as an emergency is passed along immediately. All requests are considered confidential. Prayer Warrior Ministry: the ministry BEHIND the ministry
Prayer Warrior Ministry links information with individuals who are willing to pray for a ministry on a regular basis. It’s a way to express your devotion to God and others while helping develop a ministry.The Prayer Warrior Ministry is absolutely essential. Why?
- We are living in the last days.
- Evil forces exist which are both organized and structured.
- Believers and unbelievers alike do not significantly change apart from Gods input in their lives.
- Substantive ministry does not happen without God’s contribution.
Who can be involved in Prayer Warrior Ministry?
- A special note to parents and children: The Prayer Warrior Ministry is intended to be an adult prayer ministry due to the nature of some of the needs. We encourage children to take prayer requests from their Sunday school teachers and their school.
Prayer Warrior Ministry is an online e-mail ministry.
Approximately once a month, a prayer warrior captain e-mails the ministry’s prayer and praise requests to its prayer warriors. There are no meetings to attend.
Those who do not have e-mail access can still participate.
If you do not have e-mail, just complete an enrollment form available at the Welcome Center. Leave your completed form at the Welcome Center, or mail it to Grace Brethren Church, Administration Center, 6675 Worthington-Galena Road, Worthington, OH 43085. What kind of commitment is expected?
We ask that you commit to spend dedicated time in prayer for the ministries you select. After you register online your name will remain on that ministry’s prayer warrior list until you ask for it to be removed. You may be added or removed from Prayer Warrior Ministry at any time.
It is not necessary to signup each year during the Prayer Warrior Ministry sign-up campaign. You may add or remove your name from other ministries at any time during the year.
How do I get started?
Just register online by creating a username and password (if you don’t already have one) and selecting the ministries you’d like to pray for.
NOTE: Please notify the church office (614-888-7733) whenever your address changes or you choose to change your Prayer Warrior status/options.
