In case you haven’t heard: the holidays are upon us! Pastor Dustin and I, along with the pastoral staff at Grace, want to encourage you to think about ways you can use your time with others during Christmas and Thanksgiving to bring glory to God and lift up the name of Jesus. There are countless things you could do to build those relational bridges, but we’d like to challenge you to be intentional about reaching one person through one activity in hopes of starting a spiritual conversation.
Here are a handful of ideas for things you could do:
- Invite friends to watch football
- Help a neighbor with leaf-raking
- Invite a coworker to the Living Christmas Trees
- Host a holiday meal
- Organize a kids’ craft party
- Have a movie night
- Take cookies to your neighbors
- Carol with your Grace Group
- Invite a neighbor to a Christmas tradition
- Invite someone to Christmas Eve at Grace
So how do you think God will use you to reach others for Christ this holiday season? Let us know in the comments below. If God does a surprising thing as you interact with others, then let us know by sending us your story so we can celebrate with you!
